Bare Sand Island Marine Debri Clean Up

Depart Dock 2 at Stokes Hill Wharf at 1500 on Saturday 29 April 2023 for an eco adventure through the Timor Sea into Bynoe Harbour, arriving at Bare Sand Island. Walk the circumference of the island with others who share your commitment to the environment and the turtles. Equipped with gloves and bags our joint mission is to clean up the turtle nesting beach after the ravages of the wet season storms.

All rubbish collected will sorted back in Darwin for data collection purposes, with information sent to Tangaroa Blue to contribute to the national marine debri project. BYO food and drink - we will return to Darwin after sunset.
