It's shaping up to be a tussle of titanic proportion! The Tuyu Buffaloes take on the Pumaralli Thunder and Lightening next Sunday, 6 August 2023, for the 2023 Tiwi Grand Final.

Sea Darwin has been making the annual pilgrimage to the Tiwis' for the Grand Final since 2009 - (Except during the Covid Years). In these years of traversing the Timor Sea to the Tiwi Islands, we've taken what nature has dictated! We've had glassy seas; during the March months we’ve dodged storms and at times we’ve ocean rafted across. We've been accompanied by dolphins, we’ve seen whales and we’ve had flying fish land in the boat. We’ve rescued a ghost net and had white horses gallop around the boat! At times it's been been simply idyllic conditions, at times wet and wild, and everything in between. But whatever the journey has been, those on board have always been on a mission. The mission has been to witness one of the iconic events in modern Australian history, the annual Tiwi Footy Grand Final and to cast their eves over some of the nations most intriguing and evocative art work, all for sale for a fraction of the price charged in mainland art galleries.
